Wednesday, February 28, 2024: Precious McKesson. For the last 16 years Precious has had a major role in the community as a mentor, volunteer, community liaison, neighborhood leader, political leader, and political strategist. Precious started her political journey working as the Urban Affairs Committee Clerk for Nebraska Legislature District 13 Senator Justin Wayne. In 2018 Precious began her work at the Nebraska Democratic Party as the Constituency Director where her job was to ensure all citizens are civically, and politically engaged focusing on voter turnout in low-voting communities.
Precious has a passion for neighborhoods, advocating for safe and clean neighborhoods. Precious is the president of North Omaha Neighborhood Alliance, and National President of Neighborhoods, USA also known as NUSA. When Precious isn’t fighting the
good fight she’s caring for her brother. Precious biggest accomplishment in life is being the mother of her daughter a sophomore at Creighton University.
